Utopias of the Damned is a testament to place, the artist's current residence in Canberra, Australia's capital city and home of the Ngunnawal People.

This is a city where brutalist architecture towers amidst native bush and manicured gardens and parks sing triumphant. A city that talks policies and politics in an age of political uncertainty.

Utopias of the Damned aims to depict its beauty, interrogating how cities define the individual and how the individual molds the city in turn, a homage to this unique "Utopia".
